it really makes me see how i'm at the benefitting, evil rich nations end of everything. If water was deemed as a human right by WTO, i think Singapore will just die lah. Forget about 3 cents water disputes from Malaysia; we can't even BUY water from them. MAYBE we'll still manage with NEWater, reservoirs and desalination plants but prices will sky rocket like crazy. Funny how it seems to deteriorate the problem rather than alleviate it.
Then again there isn't a perfect, one size fits all solution is there? The WTO isn't some human rights organisation hello.
