but then he didn't explore the higher taxes part in the UK, which was abit sad, but then again nobody said you had to present the other pov. it's still a great, very convincing show though! (: i think the Cuba part is wayy cool.
Aren't there like, er, subsidies from the govt for healthcare in the US? I'm trying to think what happens in Sg here. Operations are pretty expensive right? But we seem to get along with it. Do we? :x (haha i'm pretty suagu-ish) At least definitely better than a 50million (as Michael Moore claims) people in the US who are not insured.
Do they actually deny someone medical attention cause they don't have insurance? Or do they just have to pay the full (and very very expensive) price? There is a difference between the two you know, but after watching the show i get the feeling the lines are kind of blurred. If you have to just pay a higher sum then people can still get financial help from banks or social organisations or something; but if you're totally denied treatment.. that's kind of odd.
