Actually, what made me do this post was the fake 'terrorist drill' or whatever you call it. Only three words can describe it : LAME BEYOND BELIEF. Okay, at least it was a hundred times more interesting than the previous years, where i'd just fall asleep on the sofa while those boring tanks rolled in. Its nice to see the jet ski formation and all the fake cloud/ smoke that adds artistic value to the otherwise dull artillery. ha. and the best part was the classic expression of shock of those in the parade when that chapter started off with a so called 'bomb' on the grounds. super amusing. :D
Following that, the march in comprised of uniform groups SINGING a song while they marched. Lol, that's not something i've seen before during NDP. hm, or maybe not. i dont know >< either i've already fell asleep in the previous years or my memory's failed me. ha, then er, i went to bathe so i missed the rest.
I came back to the TV only after it was dark. i LOVE the 'HDB'-square lookalike thing. so cool! it's 6 storeys high though. eeks. i think i'll freak out if i was up there.
-ah, i've got to go. nevertheless, it was a performance worth watching. Applause for the director please. (:
